E-Parchi: Mobile App initiative to improve healthcare for poor people.
On December 15, 2016, Honourable Governor Sh.V.P. Singh Badnore (UT Chandigarh) launched the app e-Parchi. The mobile app will duly recognize Govt. & private medical professionals and will help in bridging human infrastructure gaps. The e-Parchi app will prove especially helpful for the rural areas peoples..

The concept of the app is to bring govt and private medical professionals on one platform. The initiative was taken in order to help poor people, to get services of private medical specialists FREE of cost.
International Red cross society, chandigarh adopted the concept and launched it through their platform. The concept has been launched as a pilot project in some districts of Punjab.
Mobile App Development: The story.
As per one article in wikipedia, Rural India contains over 68% of India’s total population, and half of all residents of rural areas live below the poverty line, struggling for better and easy access to health care and services. This is where, the concept of this mobile app popped in.
During working on a CSR initiative with a young dynamic IAS officer from Punjab cadre, the poor state of medical health facilities were discussed upon. The team immediately took decision to work on such a project, which could help raise standards of medical facilities by including private doctors in this scenario.
The mobile app development was done by Neologicx Resources India Pvt. Ltd. with a concept to keep it simple and easy to use android mobile app. The app is to be feature rich but less time consuming for the medical professionals.
The mobile app is expected to generate huge database of government/private medical doctors, which could further be used at the time of natural calamities in a city. The future course of development is going to have single click intimation of all the doctors in a particular state/city, based on their geo-location.
